Services

  • Replacement of Rejected SIM Card: If your SIM Card is defected or rejected and you see the message of “Insert SIM Card” or “Card Rejected, you can refer to one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices and replace it with a new one.
  • Conditions and Required Documents:
    • Presence of the owner of SIM Card and / or his / her legal representative at one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices.
    • Fill in and signing the application form.
    • Presentation of original and copy of national ID card.
    • Presence of original of power of attorney in case of reference of legal representative.
Note:

·         The subscribers of prepaid SIM Cards may replace their rejected SIM Cards at one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices.

·         The replacement of SIM Cards out of working hours and / or in holidays in Tehran is done at Resalat and Shahid Yeganeh Subscribers Service Center.

·         The cost of replacement of SIM Card will be deducted from your credit.

·         If you enter your enter false PIN (personal identity number) 3 times, your SIM Card will be blocked and then you need a 8-digit PUK (personal unlocking key) for make it unblocked again. If you enter false PUK three times, your SIM Card will be pooled and unusable.

·         Your PUK on SIM Card case is private and could not be changed. If you lose it, the SIM Card owner may refer to mobile telephone subscriber services offices, submit the required documents and receive it.

·         How to Notify the Lose of SIM Card? In case of lose of SIM Card, the subscriber may appear at one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices and ask for blocking the SIM Card; you can make this via answering machine on 444 and entering your PUK 2 No.

·         Conditions and Required Documents:

    • Presence of the subscriber and / or his / her legal representative
    • Fill in the application form
    • Presentation of original and copy of national ID card.
    • Presence of original of power of attorney in case of reference of legal representative.
Note:

·         The blocking and replacement of prepaid SIM Cards are done simultaneously.

·         The subscribers of prepaid SIM Cards may present original and copy of their national ID card and SIM Card Deed and ask for blocking of the lost SIM Card and its replacement with a new one at one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices.

·         The replacement of SIM Cards out of working hours and / or in holidays in Tehran is done at Resalat and Shahid Yeganeh Subscribers Service Center.

·         The cost of replacement of SIM Card will be deducted from your credit.

·         The subscribers of prepaid SIM Cards may notify the lose of their SIM Cards in one of other cities at one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices in that city (please find their address from www.mci.ir).

Activation and Deactivation of Special Services:

·         Activation of special services:

    • The caller ID, call divert, call waiting and SMS is free for all subscribers.

·         MMS

    • The subscriber and / or his / her legal representative may refer to one of mobile telephone subscriber services offices and fill in the form and letter of undertaking then make the service activated.

·         How to make the needed settings?

    • Send a SMS containing the label and model of your mobile phone to 8008.
    • Refer to the First Operator's website and select GPRS lint and make the needed settings.
Note:

·         When you make MMS services, your GPRS service will be automatically activated.

·         The activation of MMS service is free.

·         In case of SIM Card transfer, the MMS service will be deactivated and the transferee may apply for its reactivation.

·         GPRS

    • The subscriber of prepaid SIM Card may refer to www.mci.ir and select GPRS link, fill in the application form.
    • Send a SMS to 8008

·         Phone settings for GPRS:

    • Send a SMS to 8008
    • Refer to First Operator's website, select GPRS link and make the settings.
    • Make manual settings via access point of APN = mcinet.
Note:
  • The real persons have to include their full name, phone number and email address and legal entities have to include their phone number, name of the company and its registration number.
  • After filling in the form and its sending, the needed settings will be done for your phone to use GPRS services.
  • After activation of the service, you will receive a SMS confirming successful activation of the service.
