Common Questions – presence registration
Question 1: I received a file from website; when I transfer it on my phone, I see error message.
Answer: The file you downloaded from website is a zip file and you have unzip it first and install only programs with .jar or .jad extensions.
Question 2: When I open the zip file, there are some files and folders; have I install all of them?
Answer: No; you will have two files with jar and jad extensions. Jar file, will be displayed as a zip file in some computers (probably on your computer). You have to transfer this file to your mobile phone and do not unzip it and don't extract its contents.
Question 3: Why I have no message in my inbox and I can no access to my SMS's?
Answer: This program will not add or delete any of your messages. You can see all your messages via this program.
Question 4: I installed the new version of the program but can not access to my contacts. But my friend did the same and has access to his / her contacts easily; what is problem?
Answer: The program gives access to your contacts; but some models of mobile phone do not give access to the contacts. Probably your phone is one of them.
Question 5: I transferred jar file on my phone but it does not work well; what is the problem?
Answer: You have to transfer both jar and jad files but open only jad file. Since these programs have been registered in global channels and the file information are stored in jad file, your program will not operate without this file and you can not receive SMS.
Question 6: What is the difference between the compressed and non compressed file?
Answer: The non compressed send is for phones have not messenger program. Please note that the non compressed file sent just like a SMS and its cost is equal to SMS.
Question 7: Does the program operate only on phones listed in the website?
Answer: No. The list contains the phones on which the program has been tested; we expect it will operate on the similar phones not contained in the list. On the other hand, the list will be updated regularly.
Question 8: My phone accepts only Symbian programs; will you offer the Symbian version of the program?
Answer: All phones which work with Symbian are capable to work with Java. Please use the manual of your mobile phone to learn how to install java programs on your phone. Furthermore, we will offer Symbian version of the program in future.
Question 9: In P1, A1200 and some other touch phones, there is no touch keyboard and / or do not work well; what I should do?
Answer: Unfortunately, the program has not this capability yet; the problems will be fixed in the future versions and Symbian version of the program.
Question 10: My phone has not c button; how I can clear the text or numbers?
There is a version of program specially designed to such phones, you can install them.
Question 11: The previous version of the program did not work on my phone and always I had “authentication error” at the time of installation; does this new version work in the same way?
Answer: This is because of the fact that the program has not been a registered one and, for your phone, it has been “invalid” version. This program is registered and the problem has been fixed.
Question 12: Why the program is not capable to receive delivery report?
Answer: The software has this capability but you have to make some changes in SMSC of servers. Immediately after making such changes you will have delivery report.
Question 13: I installed the program but it does not automatically ring by receiving SMS and waits for my permit to operate. So, I has to take care my phone all time to see have I any new SMS or not; has the problem any solution?
Answer: Yes; the new version of the software has digital confirmation; it allows you to set the program in such a way that no more need to your permit for operation. It is possible if your mobile phone has such a capability. Fortunately, the majority of the mobile phones have such a capability. After installation of the program, go to settings of Java and select SMSMCI and make the needed settings on it. Select Always Allow in Auto-Start menu. This allows the program to operate automatically after receive of a new SMS.
Question 14: I have Installation Security Error when I try to install the program; how I fix the problem?
Answer: Please set the date of your mobile phone correctly.
