The subscriber, transferee and / or their legal representative may submit the required documents (similar to documents required for replacement of rejected SIM Card) to one of the mobile telephone services offices and, in case of lack of legal prohibition, ask for activation of ID caller, access limitation, fax, data, …. services.

 

Call Waiting:

This service enables you to see the number of new caller when you are busy on another phone and you will be able to call the second one by pressing the green key. You can press SWAP to transfer these to calls.

Call Divert

This services enables you to divert your incoming calls on another phone in the form included in the following table. In this state, the call cost shall be the call with the new line (on which you diverted your calls).

SMS (Short Message Service):

This service is used for sending short messages. After you became that your SMS system is active, you have to open your Text Message menu, then Settings, and Messaging. Then enter into Service Center and register the message center's numbers: +9891100500 or +9891100510.

Note: The subscribers who not desire to receive advertising messages may call on 09990.

GPRS Service

You can use nearly all functions that you need for Internet connection. You can access to email, multi media and web browser via GPRS. You can make this functions activated via First Operator's website.

Method of activation:

1-      Via www.mci.ir

2-      Sending SMS to 8088

 

Deactivation of Service:

1-      By attending at one of mobile network service centers and submission of the required documents (original and copy of national card, last bill)

2-      Sending SMS to 8088 with text of 5.

 

MMS Services

The activation of this service enables the subscriber to exchange multimedia files (voice, picture, …)

How to activate the service?

1-      By attending at fixed telephone center and filling in the letter of undertaking and submission of the required documents.

Note:

1-      If you make MMS service activated hence your GPRS service is not activated, then the latter becomes automatically activated simultaneous with activation of MMS service.

 

How to Deactivate the Service:

1-       Attending at one of mobile network service centers, filling in the forms and submission of the required documents.

2-       By use of e-care system – if you have activated it.

 

Voice Mail Service (VMS):

This acts like answering machine and will record the voice message of the caller in all the following states and the stored messages are sent to the subscriber by the operator. The subscriber may dial 09912 and hear his / her voice messages and manage them (store, delete, …). No cost shall be received for storing the voice messages but for hearing them a cost equal to inter city call will be added to the subscriber's bill. You can call on 09912 to check your VMS is active or not. If it is active, you will hear this message: “you have no new message” and in case it is inactive you will hear “your VMS system is not active”.

If your VMS system is active, you can enter into divert menu and use Divert Voice Call for transfer of voice messages by use of one of the following means; then your SIM Card will be ready to receive the voice messages:

Call Barring Service:

This service lets you to limit the incoming calls in the following states. Your can set this service via, Settings, Call Settings, Call Barring and make the needed settings. You can receive the activation code from mobile telephone subscribers services office (normally it is 1234 and may be changed).

Fax and Data Services

The fax and data system enables you to send and receive your fax and data messages when you have no access to a fax machine provided that you have coverage at the point you are. The send and receive speed is 9.6 kb / sec which could be increased up to 170 kb / s by use of GPRS technology.

After your application for use of fax and data services, a number will be allocated to you for fax and another one for data at the switching center of mobile communication. The cost of each of the said services for each term (2-month) is 100,000 Rials and the charge for the connection time is similar to the call cost.

 

Connection of Mobile Phone to Fax Machine and Notebook

1-      You can connect your mobile phone to the notebook via connection cable and installation of the software.

2-      Also, you can connect your mobile phone to notebook via bluetooth if both of your devices are equipped with this technology.

3-      The mobile phone could also be connected to notebook via infrared if both of your devices are equipped with this technology.

4-      If your mobile phone device is equipped with PDA (like Nokia 9300, 9110, 9500), you can directly connect to fax and data services

Fax Service:

The numbers allocated to the subscribers for fax and data system, the computer will be set in fax or data mode (hyper terminal) when the someone dials the number.

Meanwhile, there is no need to use fax and data number and this service will be activated immediately after your registration for receive of the services.

The connection with ISP and username and password and use of dialup connection, fax and hyper terminal, the functions are like the fixed telephone.

 

Fixed Dialing Service

This service enables the subscribers to make the dialing possibility of his / her phone to a limited number of telephone lines (15 – 25 numbers depending on the phone model). Your can make this function activated via Settings, Security Settings, Fixed Dialing and then enter Pin 2 (the service is accessible to all subscribers and has no cost).

Group Calls

By activation of this service a subscriber can simultaneously call on maximum 5 other ones in such a manner that anyone can hear each other.

The service is 1 + 5 that 1 is host and the 5 ones are gusts.

It's activated for all subscribers of postpaid and prepaid SIM Cards of Hamrah-e Avval.

Attending at the service center applying for and submission of the required documents (original and copy of national card, last paid bill and power of attorney – if applicable).
