Transfer of Mobile Telephone Subscription

Direct Transfer:

Any subscriber may transfer his / her telephone subscription to the transferee at one of mobile telephone services offices by submission of the transferee's documents provided that no legal prohibition to be existing for such transfer.

 

Documents Required for Transfer:

1-      Simultaneous attendance of the transferor and transferee at mobile service center

2-      Original and photocopy of transferor's national ID card

3-      Original and photocopy of transferee's national ID card

4-      Active SIM Card

5-      Original and copy of the last bill

6-      Provision of 10-digit zip code (without 0 and 2 digits)

7-      Title deed to be issued in transferee's name

 
Notes:

(1)    If the transferor and / or transferee are below their legal age, their natural guardian (father or grand father) may sign the deed on their behalf (the guardian has to submit the copy of first and second page of his birth certificate and other documents).

(2)    If the transferor and / or transferee are below legal age, but the court has issued a Decreed of Mental Maturity to them, they may directly submit the required documents and transfer the subscription.

(3)    If the transferor is legally incompetent to make transaction, then his / her director shall sign the deed on his / her behalf.

 

Indirect Transfer:

Since June 22nd, 2010 the transferor's attorney in fact may appear at one of the mobile telephone services offices and ask for the inquiry, after receive of the response to the inquiry; he / she can transfer the SIM Card before one of the notary publics.

The last attorney-in-fact to the transferor may attend at mobile service center and, in case of lack of any legal prohibition, to transfer the line belonging to his / her grantor.

 
  • The needed documents:

1-      Originals of all powers of attorney and the copy of the last one.

2-      Original of all powers of attorney.

3-      Original and copy of valid National Card of the transferee.

4-      Original and copy of valid National Card of the last attorney in fact.

5-      The original and copy (both sides) of the last bill of the SIM Card.

6-       Legal entities have to submit the official gazette containing company's notice.

7-      Draw up of the transfer deed and execution by the both parties.

 
Note:

If the power of attorney is lost, then the copy of the same one shall be accepted provided that confirmed by the issuing authority to be a true copy.
