According to the MCI Communications Directorate, MCI and Abadan Water and Wastewater Company signed an agreement to provide drinking water for the city, on Wednesday, ۳ February ۲۰۱۹, in Abadan.

According to the agreement signed by Shahin Arpanahi, MCI’s Director of Communications, and Alireza Khalilinia, the Director of Abadan Province Water and Wastewater Company, a desalination plant with a capacity of ۳۵۰ m^۳ per day will be installed to help providing drinking water for Abadan citizens, in line with MCI's corporate social responsibility.
